The Process of an Independent Project

The First Week

It is so strange to think – scratch that – to know I am in my final semester of my undergraduate studies at Maine College of Art. It's exciting to me that in 15 short weeks, I will be able to do whatever I want, when I want. Total. Time. Freedom. Don't get me wrong I enjoy taking classes, but when going to school full time, it becomes your life... Long class periods, a few a day, four to five days a week, followed by hours of homework, just isn't my cup of tea. Time is the most valuable wealth everyone has, you should spend it by doing something you love!

I decided to post my process of the Independent Project on a blog that lives on my website because I think it will create a connection with my audience and show that I am human. I am not just my website. So here are my thoughts, let me know what you think: I would like to keep this raw and I hope you are okay with that. I like seeing raw, exposed ideas, thoughts, and feelings.

So here's to the future – may you leave your mind open, thoughts loud, and feelings delighted.
